Yes, in Florida, anyone born on or after January 1, 1988, must have a valid boating safety ID card or complete an approved boating safety course. Our company not only requires this ID but also a Florida boating license.
You should have prior boating experience, know navigation rules, and be comfortable operating a boat in various conditions. We will ask a couple of questions and do a test drive to confirm your expertise.
Typically, we offer deck boats for self-drive rentals.

Rental Requirements & Policies
You need a valid ID, a credit card for the security deposit, and boating experience. If required by law, a boating safety certificate/license must be presented.
Yes, the renter and operator must be at least 30 years old with prior boating experience.
You can explore Biscayne Bay, the Miami Sandbars, and nearby coastal areas. However, offshore boating and trips to the Bahamas are not allowed without a captain. You will always have to cruise in the service area that will be explained in the briefing.
Yes, boats must obey speed limits, stay within designated areas, and follow local maritime laws. Some areas, such as seagrass beds, are off-limits.
A late return fee will be applied. We recommend returning the boat on time to avoid additional charges.
Safety & Weather
All boats come equipped with life jackets, a fire extinguisher, navigation lights, and a safety whistle.
If severe weather is forecasted, we may reschedule your rental or provide a refund. If you’re already on the water, seek shelter and contact us immediately.
No, fuel is typically not included. The boat must be returned with a full tank, or you will be charged for the fuel used.
Yes, but the boat operator must remain sober at all times. Boating under the influence is illegal and dangerous.
We recommend bringing sunscreen, a hat, sunglasses, a cooler with drinks and snacks, and your boating license (if required).
Any damages will be the responsibility of the renter, and repair costs will be deducted from the security deposit.
